I suppose an update is in order, I’m not really someone that is used to talking about what is going on so bear with me as I get used to blogging about my experience. Christmas, as always, is a hard time for me because there are so many good desserts and I love sugar. So, over Christmas I actually didn’t do as badly as I normally do and I lost all of the weight again right after, even before I went back into the gym. I’m starting to understand everything that Leanne is telling me I have to do with regards to eating properly and I’m really enjoying the workouts even if I’m a little sore after. It just means that I’ve been working hard and that my muscles and body are finally starting to change.
I tried the box-fit class last week and was amazed that, despite how hard the class was on my body, I really enjoyed it. I’ve always liked the idea of learning how to box. On Thursday I did my workout with Barb this time and then went back to Leanne’s house to learn how I can make food for school that I’ll actually enjoy. Normally for school I eat out for lunch, like Wendy’s or McDonalds. Now I have some food options I like but also that are good for me and don’t involve a lot of cost for me.
The thing that most intrigued me with the hemp heart chocolate bar thing is that we made it taste really good and it felt like a treat but was better than a regular chocolate bar. Alright, I have to get back to bed; I still have a bit of a cold and would like to feel better before going back to school.
